SHARON KIRBY
Sharon is a Barkindji woman born and raised by the Murray River. Much of Sharon’s art is representative of the land and the wildlife that inhabits the Murray River and surrounds. Kangaroos, emus, snakes, echidnas, goannas, fish and frogs are integral features of her art, each with their own unique story and their significance to her people and the land. Sharon is constantly experimenting with different mediums and unique objects on which to apply her art.
